Demystifying cancer- this is a mask that precisely fits my face and attaches to the table so I can not move my head at all during radiation to my brain. It’s not scary at all.

Lots of folks are curious about what a take home chemo pump looks like. It’s connected to the port in my chest, like a small transistor radio (kids look that up), and will run now at 2 ml per hour for 46 hours. only 89 ml to go!

We should market chemo clothes. I accidentally disconnected my pump one time- traumatic! I carried it around in a little Kate spade purse to make me feel better about the whole thing! Also it took me weeks to find cotton pjs that buttoned down the front for hospital wear.
