Could not agree more. There are obvious ways in which we give up aspects of our “privacy” as a result of accepting certain features of technology; however, the idea that anyone is entitled to know where we are at any moment of the day is, in my opinion, ludicrous.

For 24 years I served in the navy. This IS heartbreaking. But this is not the end. We will persevere. Every time I re-enlisted, part of the oath was “I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…”. That oath did not expire when I retired.

I am very much enjoying the last 24 hours since I joined here. I can see where this will become my primary means of social media interaction. It just feels more interactive & more user-friendly than Threads. But that’s just me; staying on both for now, but X was long ago deleted.

Lucy’s ear did like Oscar when she was a pup too, with one leaning on the other for a bit. Oscar looks like a wonderful fur-baby!
