I don’t want to read too much into this, but think it’s possible Trump is feeling old and tired, and knows he does not have much time left and just wants to go home. So he needs a peace deal with NYC and being nice to Mamdani is it.

Agree, but let’s start with Mamdani and AOC, both of who I like a lot. I would like to know what means of production they intend to nationalize? And if they don’t plan to nationalize any industries, they’re not socialists, they’re just liberals. Although I get it, socialist sounds more edgy.
