Is this the nicest ricotta cannoli I've ever had? I think it might be. It was definitely made today, the shell is super crisp.

Today was a good day, we went for a nice drive west, (not a lot of traffic either) tried a newly opened Thai restaurant (I had a fried rice version of Pad Kapow) and dropped by Target where I struck gold in the clearance rack ($120 worth of clothes for $15!).

Trying out the Aldi Christmas specials. This was the scallop and champagne gratin. It's a good size starter. Small scallops and very rich cheesy sauce. They're only $5 a serve.
