It’s part of why anarchy is an appealing philosophy for me, hierarchies provide incentives for bad actors and you should always be at least a little suspicious of anyone who seeks power

And the only people who should care anywhere as much are that are competitive athletes. The difference in performance is kind of pointless if you’re just commuting :P

I still remember the guy at an old office who argued that the weight difference between an aluminium bike and carbon fibre one was so pitiful it’d be easier and cheaper to just loose weight

Part of the reason AI is used is because it is cheaper, but AI companies are running at a loss in order to grow as fast as possible. How much would AI actually cost if it was priced honestly?
