I think we all are thinking, that if this was staged for a photo op, to build sympathy, and get votes... two people were murdered for this.

to be honest, I think they are fine, just that with server moves, and people getting settled on the new servers, ( and then redecorating homes, or neighbourhoods ) there was less time for the wraith servers.
We are 'getting back' to Angmar now, after spending the year adjusting to Peregrin.

The same people begging for a graphics update, will play games like " Peak" and ooh and awe over a decal on a round head and say it looks great.
So I'd not put much stock in any of this. The people that are gonna complain, are the same ones that play a game for 2 weeks and are done.

As you stated before, it is a 20 year old game engine, and would not be compatable with Unreal 5 engine. While you could port the wireframe of the buildings into Unreal 5 engine, retexture, it isn't the same as playability.

Linux works great with lotro :)
I got so tired of Windows forced updates constantly lagging/crashing my streams I switched over to Linux a few years back, and I find lotro running much more smoothly than it did on Windows.
