I have to assume that 10000 and over is too ridiculous and the hundreds range feels too weak. The thousands range is the sweet spot for communicating high performance

A lot of people buy stuff they don’t need, contributing to their frustration on price and unmet expectations. The most expensive toys are usually finicky.. imo buy a used ToF or QE and experiment thoughtfully. I’m not convinced marketing budgets are main issue, customer decisions are part of it.

Stimulating to consider how a for-profit model would work. Govt money fountain is boring.. but a futures trading scheme based on localized cooling of commodities production areas is beautifully evil.
