Some great fixtures, and avoided some draining journeys. Happy with it for sure

They are binary, but if a byproduct of the rules causes an imbalance then they aren't fit for purpose, and that's supporters issue. Agreed the game shouldn't be about how wealthy your owner is, but unfortunately that's been the case for the last 30 years. Aside from Leicester.

It's known that it's to prevent clubs mismanagement and living beyond their means, their are legitimate views and concerns of supporters that it has caused a divide between the earning of the big 6 and the other 14. If it was planned or is an unintended byproduct of the rules doesn't really matter.

Sincerely, what are these myths?

To supporters outside of the "big 6" PSR looks to have been less about securing clubs futures and more about the richest clubs/ owners protecting their investment and future returns. The drawbridge has been pulled up, so the other 14 can't compete with the super league level wages of the big 6

Facts. And in a world cup year, The death gasp of an Agent who tried to bully a sovereign wealth fund

Might be in denial, but just smells like publicity bullshit to me. Give it a year or two when they're trying to shop him off to Italy after ruining him and it'll come out he's on 300k a week

Well, looks like we've got to page 329 of our list of targets

Not that he'd fancy it, but would love him as backup to Wissa (or equivalent) for a year and let Eddie and Jason work their magic with him in training

I know the pool is small, but is there anyone a bit leftfield that you'd be hoping to see us try for?
Torres, Aghehowa, Guirassey, etc?

Yes Man U will be paying him twice as much as Newcastle offered, but his contract includes a clause that he's required to work 2 shifts a week in the canteen and drive the team bus to away games. So it's good value if you think about it logically
August 6, 2025 at 11:16 AM
Realistically yeah, but I'd love two strikers and keep him for another year.

Can disagree with any of your comments, think Ramos has shown flashes, similar to Sesko in that regard.

In fairness, with enough time I'd trust Howe to get a tune out of anyone after witnessing Murphy's transformation

Sesko
Ramos
Guehi
Wharton

Expensive and on just the edge of realistic.

Wildcard would be Arda Güler, but we're never getting him in a million years.

Imagine if we managed Sesko and a CM as well 🫨
