Man, I love this game! First time on the actual tabletop. I usually play on BGA. Since it was hubby's first time, we just played the base game, but Im looking forward to trying the expansion. Clans of Caledonia #boardgames

I got out to an early lead with my small car, which painted a target on my back for the entire rest of the game; even after that lead evaporated. I was targeted relentlessly and to the exclusion of the 3 other players. #boardgames

My first time tabling Revive. (I've played it on BGA.) It's much less complex than it looks at first glance. Upkeep is really simple. Quite the table hog, tho. Both of us really enjoyed it! #boardgames

Have you ever had a game in your cull stack, decided to play it one more time and then thought... "Why am I getting rid of this? I like this game!" That just happened to me. Its lighter than Terra Mystica, but we only had 2 hours and this fit the bill nicely. #boardgames

Slow month for me in October. Lots of birthdays! 7 games are new to me. Hive goes with us to restaurants, so we get a lot of plays of that. It's our favorite 2 player game, and the expansion insects just make it so much better! Galactic Cruise was my favorite heavy game this month.

First time on tabletop is Zenith. I loved this the couple times I played it on BGA. I'm noticing it tends to drag on after it should have concluded. I wish there was a better mechanic to recycle cards in play back into the draw pile, I don't like having to change my strategy 3/4 into the game.

So we went from a nice walk in the backyard to a trip to urgent care yesterday. Hubby was making grilled cheese, turned his back for ONE SECOND and she jumped up directly onto the griddle.

Who's played this? I really enjoyed it - it's definitely a board gamer's boardgame. I still don't fully understand some aspects... I think I need to read the rules again. But fun was had! I'd love to back it on KS, but I don't think my wallet can handle it. #boardgames

Spent yesterday afternoon on a hike through Lynn Woods Reservation. Breathtaking view from the top of Stone Tower! I didn't realize you could see all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.
