No problem.
Just don't put your knees on a shelf.

Because the howls of outrage aren't coming from the important people: donors.
November 27, 2025 at 2:59 PM
Presumably they're suckers and losers.

He should apologise for having to be dragged kicking and screaming to do it.
And the other measures are pissing in the wind.
November 27, 2025 at 2:19 PM
But had to be dragged kicking and screaming to do it.

It is said that you should always distrust the passive voice.
Many people (some of the best) are saying the vaguely attributed active voice is just as bad.

As it's The World At One, shouldn't it be TWATO?

Did they not ask Farage what he thinks?
They're slipping.

I pay my taxes. I'd do so more happily (and advocate paying more) if I trusted our government to use them for the benefit of those less able to pay them than I am, and not siphon them off to shareholders, donors, and CEOs (the Venn diagram has big overlaps).

Of course, being from Lancashire I don't hold with any foreign systems, like the ones they use in Lincolnshire.

That would be a very short phone call.
"Give him money, and flatter him. Or threaten to release the video."

Shame they had to be dragged kicking and screaming to do it.

Hey. Give him a break. He (correctly) said 'purposely' when he always used to say (wrongly) 'purposefully' so either his grammar is improving, or someone slightly less illiterate wrote this.
November 26, 2025 at 5:12 PM
Has anyone explained to you why you had the whip withdrawn for voting for what the chancellor thinks is a spiffing idea?
November 26, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Republicarseholes
November 26, 2025 at 3:45 PM
If it's such a good idea, why did it take so long, and why did Labour MPs who voted for it have the whip withdrawn?
And when are you going to take utilities into public ownership like Starmer pledged?
And do you really have to appease your donors by saddling the NHS with more PFI?
So disappointing.
November 26, 2025 at 3:42 PM
November 26, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Why didn't you do it on day one?
And when are you going to nationalise utilities like Starmer promised?
And how about taking the NHS back into public ownership?
Because your donors won't be happy?
You're pissing in the wind.

Hand washing helps, but aerosol or droplet transmission also occurs, especially when an infected person vomits. The droplets can travel short distances and contaminate, nearby surfaces, food, and of course hands. Inhaling the droplets from the air can also cause infection.

The BBC's sycophancy (among other things) makes the possibility of a fair referendum (if we ever got that far) pretty remote as well.
November 25, 2025 at 10:05 PM
The BBC having a grown up debate about the cost and role of the monarchy rather than being the Windsors' biggest PR flatterers would be a start.

He's denying reality with no evidence.
