In an effort to help myself feel better after all of the crap going on today...

I found my favorite set of icons that I used when I had Windows XP. (2004!)

They were called iCandy Junior by Foood.

Only trouble is...they're so outdated I can't use them. :(

But look how _cute_ they are.

The first one I got to play games on properly was an Apple II. I think. Had the green screen and all. We had them in the gifted child program.

I was in the Petz Community around 1999-2010-ish. I am now back semi-active. :D It's fun to see how far we've come in being able to turn cute little orb animals into Atrocities.

You can have the normal petz, but also like...other beasties.
A fairly normal black and white striped cat with green eyes stands behind a fluffy pastel pink, yellow and blue cat-creature that resembles sentient candy floss. A gray-ish frog with orange eyes and dark speckles on it's back waves it's back feet in the air and looks at you as if daring you to do anything about it. A very large pink and white Eastern Dragon (Named Hubba Bubble) Looks backwards at the viewer. A small purple and pink kitten is in the background eyeing a rug with suspicion. A Hippo baby is 'barking' at the viewer.

Went out to the local flea market. Was probably not a good idea. I didn't realize there was an air warning. Had three asthma attacks.

But. I came home with a $20 1950's hassock fan that works. :D

If you have zero idea what it is...it's a fan, that is also a seat/footstool. Check Alt text 4 details
This is not the one I purchased but is nearly identical. The fan blows the air upwards, which makes it hit a cone shaped form on the bottom of the seat. It moves the air out the sides and also at an upwards angle. The photo shows a light aqua green fan that resembles a round metal footstool. It has four legs with chrome trim and vented grilles in the sides to allow airflow. The motor and fan blades are inside facing upwards. A black plastic knob is on the front control panel. There are settings for Off, High, Medium and Low. A logo under the knob says "Country Aire" and "Lakewood Engineering & Mfg. Co.". There is a long white cord bundled up beneath it. The unit is approximately 15 inches tall and 13 inches in circumference.

The creator of the original made one with an extra lavender stripe representing diversity and TBH it's pretty nice.

There are four more dinosaurs, dino eggs and plants to color in. We'll see what flag colors get put on those!

So I love to stim on soft materials. And one of the easiest/cheapest/cutest options for obtaining these are baby blankets.

I got a new one today as a sort of gift to myself after the horrible day I had yesterday. It has dinosaurs on it!

But...I opened it up and...it also has elephants? Like what?

I don't have a lot of cards but I just bought a 3-ring binder and used baseball card inserts for them.

There are lots and lots of the binders out there. (Mine is just purple)

If you want to have something that protects from dirt/debris there are zippable ones.

I'll bite them on the face with one of those grabber-dinosaur things.
A toy 'grabber' consisting of a hot pink t-rex head attached to a rainbow striped stick with a hot pink handle at the other end. A pull trigger makes the plastic dinosaurs' mouth open and close. Useful for tormenting siblings, friends, co-workers or idiots. This one has candy inside the handle as well.

Oh! I forgot to share that when I went to the urgent care I also hit the grocery store (where my medicine was called into). Yes, I wore my mask. I am a good woozle.

BUT. I got myself a few treats since I've been so sick. A Lego set of Hedgiehogs, a dinosaur coloring book and a soff dino friend.

Here are all of my rubber puppies that were hiding in a candy tin. Plus the outside of the little booklet with their profiles in it.

I have several small rubber dinosaurs that I have had since I was a small child and when I found them again in things that had been boxed up for 25-ish years I _squealed_ and hugged their dusty selves to me. They're now clean, in my bedroom and I love playing with them. XD
A green rubber triceratops toy of the "Definitely Dinosaurs" line. It was released as a toy from Wendy's Kids Meals in the 1980's. (Photo not mine, taken from the wilds of the internet) A blue rubber apatosaurus toy. It is also from Wendy's in the 1980's. It has a very small head with it's mouth open and a yellow eye with black pupil and eyelid. The rest is blue with small bumps and wrinkles. It has a chunky body and thick legs. (Photo not mine, taken from 16bit.com's review of the toy. Worth a read!) A two-tone green meat-eating dinosaur from the same line as the previous two. Definitely Dinosaurs by Playskool and given out in kids' meals at Wendys in the 1980's. It is slightly ambiguous as to exactly what kind of upright walking carnivorous dino it actually is. It resembles a t-rex in build but has a horn on it's nose. Perhaps it is a ceratosaurus? (Photo not mine, taken from the internet)
