28 Years Later was a fucking magnificent movie. Wow. #moviesky #filmskya

I enjoyed the new I Know What You Did Last Summer. Hardly original, but hey - neither of the earlier movies was a masterpiece either… #filmskya #moviesky

I watched half of The Sadness this morning and, to my own surprise, I think it’s excellent. Which is odd, since I’m usually not a fan of extreme graphic horror - it often lacks humor, for one thing. But The Sadness strikes a chord with me somehow. I’ll return with a final verdict. #moviesky

Maybe this year’s best? Very impressed by Bugonia, and everything and everyone connected to it. #moviesky #filmskya #bugonia

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who's coming to save you? #rederiet

Ordered these two. Paul Weatherhead also wrote the excellent Social Panics & Phantom Attackers: A Study of Imaginary Assailants together with Robert E. Bartholomew, who cowrote Outbreak! with Hilary Evans. #booksky

Down at the Royal National Library of Sweden today. Did some work for @ufosverige.bsky.social, but mostly for myself. Discovered yet another phantom attacker outbreak in Sweden, and I’m afraid I must include it in my book. Gah. It never ends.

Safe passage, Udo Kier ❤️

@ponysmasher.social’s Until Dawn was such a fun, creative surprise - packed with practical effects and gloriously over-the-top gore. Easily one of this year’s genre favourites! #moviesky #filmskya

The Return of Dr. Mabuse may lack Lang’s sharp eye for storytelling, but it’s still a helluva great krimi with an enthusiastic Gert Fröbe back as Lohmann. #filmskya #moviesky

And as usual, sneaked down to his library :)

Graham Shitcock has become a parody of himself, and his anti-establishment rants smell of Trump a long way off. That said, I found Before America at a local second-hand store for next to nothing, and I collect trash literature - so here I am. 🤷🏼‍♂️ #booksky

Revisiting Osgood Perkins’s The Monkey. Still think it’s fucking funny and brilliant. Perfect mix of deadpan horror, mean-spirited humour and Perkins’s beautifully awkward storytelling. One of the few Stephen King adaptations that actually gets the quirkiness. #moviesky #filmskya

Bought this fab box from Eureka Entertainment. Starting, of course, with Fritz Lang’s own The 1,000 Eyes of Dr. Mabuse. Classy krimi! 🤩 #filmskya #moviesky

I can’t remember who it was, but someone recently posted about the Devil’s Bible - Codex Gigas - so I dropped by for a visit today just because of that :) I’m often in the same building, so it’s about time!

I really enjoyed Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, but it nothing compared to these two awesome bastards. #moviesky #filmskya #frankenstein

Just before the boulder, we had a wonderful picnic on a field nearby.

Found a “supporting stone” in the Flemingsberg forest - a huge boulder seemingly propped up with hundreds of sticks.

A kind of Swedish votive cairn, where visitors add a branch for luck or safe passage.

A strange little shrine in the woods.
