Yeah, that's fair. And it was really impressive in particular since he actually gave full proofs often in 2-3 statements (which again were only useful if you'd already had a solid grasp of what was going on but still...).

I attended a spring school once where DZ needed some representation theory for his part. So he started out giving a 1h "intro" to represenation theory which in essence contained a semester's worth of results (including proofs). Fun to watch but useless for people not already familiar with RT.

True, but how would a worse reaction to weightlessness improve your odds of surviving? Arguably being able to keep calm and trying to land reasonably well are the better adaptation.
