Lightlark starts off slow, taking time to build is plot, but it picks up as the story unfolds. The world building is fun and I really liked the magic element. The tension builds nicely, leading to a twist filled and satisfying ending that had me staring at the wall.

This book was entertaining but there were a few plot holes and the ending was rushed. Cate is a good main character in the otherworld, but in the human world she is genuinely annoying. I really enjoyed the romance between Cate & Lachlan, it was fun!

This book was absolutely adorable! An easy read with cosy vibes throughout. The slow burn romance was so sweet. The cafe setting was a lot of fun, and I loved the chaotic dragons.
My only gripe was the dragons being referred to as “Draggos.”
