From my vintage clothing collection - I realized I've never shared this dress and it's a prized possession.
This dress is by Helen Rose, famed costume designer who was under contract at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer from 1944 until the 1960s.

I love this trashy movie. Troy Donahue in red! A baby that catches on fire!

The last calendar year was a trial and much of 36 was spent being sad (34 and 35 weren’t a picnic either).

Starting year 37 being truly single for the first time in 10 years. I feel like I’ve finally come up for air and finally have peace. Onward and upward in this new chapter.

For Noirvember, what is your favorite film noir?

One of mine is THE SET-UP (1949), directed by Robert Wise and starring Robert Ryan and Audrey Totter.

"I shall never forget the weekend Laura died."

This year's classic film-themed Halloween costume is the painting of Gene Tierney as Laura Hunt in the film noir LAURA (1944), directed by Otto Preminger.
