Had the same thought -- winning a long throw is a simple height contest compared to a cross where timing/technique is much more important. BDB flicking a throw onto Big Nick has the potential to be very hard to defend.

That’s the going rate. A premier league proven striker is worth double what they would be otherwise. We have the same price premium on Isak and we should expect it for others.

I don't see Eddie fancying a David Silva type. Maybe someone like Christian Pulisic? - scores goals, can dribble in tight spaces, high workrate, prem/cl/intl experience, can play anywhere behind the striker, off-field commercial opportunities, Milan may need to raise money this summer, etc.

Dream: Cole Palmer (goals and assists against low blocks)
Don't Want: Guéhi @ >70M (for 40M I'd love to have him)
Sacrifice: Isak @ > 100M (that kind of money sets us up for a few years) or Botman @ >50M (recent injury + lots of LCBs around these days)

Harsh on Hall IMO. Salah in form. BDB no better in past seasons (Nunez score 2 from that side, Salah scored 2, Pope sent off after ball through that channel, etc). That’s where Liverpool attack and they get the better of most.
