A snippet of the Sope one shot I’m writing His hair has gotten long, but he thinks he likes it, it feels like something new, some of the change he silently craves to give himself. Maybe this is the time to get a new tattoo, it has been over a year since he has gotten the last one. There is a tune caught in the back of his mind, fingers taping away, humming it while shampooing his hair. It's one of their newer tracks, one from the last album, catchy with a good solo in the middle, something they make a show of. He misses standing on stage, hopping around, adrenaline pushing through his veins, the mixed taste of whiskey and sweat on his tongue, the good mood brimming around them with fans shouting the lyrics to their songs. He is so caught up that he doesn't realise the door opening and someone slipping into the shower with him until he feels hands on his sides that are making him jump, hands up, ready to fight whoever was breaching his privacy like that, he spins around, just to be met by endeared giggles and a blinding heart shaped smile. "Hoseok!" His voice sounds breathless, a hand pressed above his rapidly beating heart. "That's my name." The younger man still giggles, hands wandering down until they are holding Yoongi at his hips, causing goosebumps to wander over his skin as well, covering his whole body, almost making him shake, losing his focus easily. "What are you doing here?" He asks, voice a bit more stable after a deep breath. This hasn't happened the first time and (hopefully) wouldn't be the last, but it was somewhat surprising to see Hoseok standing there, in front of him, like he hasn't flirted with some of the staff just before Yoongi has left the beach to take this shower, signalling Yoongi that he wasn't interested today. "Showering?" Hoseok makes it sound like a question, while mischief was glimmering in his eyes, revealing that he has a lot more in mind than washing the salt water away. Sometimes he wonders if Hoseok feels at least slightly how he does, but then he sees him being so nonchalant with it, so open about all the feelings he has outside of this, he is one of the ones who are openly communicating them, next to Namjoon who always seems so in tune with himself that it is almost painful for Yoongi to look at him from time to time. Instead of pushing Hoseok away, like he should do, he should finally muster the courage to end whatever this is for good, when he wants to keep the bigger pieces of his heart in takt, he pulls him under the stream of water, dousing him in it, watching it pearl from his smooth, soft skin, tangling in his dark hair, curling it. Yoongi stops breathing for a second, finding him falling into Hoseok's dark eyes that are looking at him like he was his next meal, like there was more, some sort of softness in them, a feeling he craves to experience. His hands are tangling in the dark strands, the grip Hoseok has on his hips getting stronger by the second.
