I'm good for nothing atm - except for taking in the sun, and doing the odd clothes repair. My bf and I have both come down w the lurgy. At least it's probably not covid as we still have our taste. But, ugh.

It's minus-something outside and the crazy tramuntana is blowing from the high Pyrenees. The perfect day, then, to harvest the last of the chillis and peppers. Aren't they pretty! 🌶🌶🌶🌱

This beautiful chrysanthemum has just flowered in our little village (abandoned 55 years ago). We think it must be an escapee from the tiny cemetery. It's associated with All Saints Day, apparently. I love these manifests from a past long-gone and yet still so present. 🌼🌱 #catalanpyrenees

Today I harvested my Basque Espelette peppers and strung them on a thread to slowly air dry. Aren't they pretty? I've never done this before. Gardeners, tell me, am I doing it right? I've not slit the peppers, only strung them by their stalks. 🌱🌶🌶🌶
