Happy to share that my release is coming out next week for Bandcamp Friday! It’s been almost 4 years since putting anything out (busy w/ parenting, working, etc), but been writing music when I’d have the chance. Collaborations from friends and support from family made this possible. Thanks in adv!

Happy with how these turned out! DIY noise box and electric kalimba, both fitted with a piezo contact mic inside and a volume knob.
A silver metal box with 5 springs attached to screws; a small metal dish is located on the bottom right corner of the box with three metal marbles and a bell inside; in the middle of the dish are 6 guitar strings jutting out from the center. There is a copper-colored coil attached to the box on the bottom center. A black and white volume knob is the on side of the box. 17 kalimba keys attached to a silver metal box. A black and white volume knob is located on the front of the box. Next to the box is a tiny silver hammer on the right side used for adjusting the keys.

Today was the last day of the month-long class with one of my musical heroes, Brian Eno. I learned SO much and feel very lucky to have participated. Also appreciated him wearing the Palestinian flag today, plus learning the fun fact that he’s a fan of Sunn O))). Thank you School of Song for hosting!
