We were kept busy on various inside Sheffield Park Works. Access plate to tender water space on Maunsell Q class 541's new tank got a lick of green primer.

Mr Mark Wilson on the footplate of Clan Line cleaning out the grate after a mainline w end tour-busy damned useful chap and proof steam has a future as people like him out there. Superb!

What a brand new Wainwright 'P' class 0-6-0 tank's cylinder block looks like. This is for No.27. A Bluebell SECR stalwart which is being lovingly restored by a fab young team and has not run in many a year. The main frames dating from 1910 had rusted through.
All power to their superb efforts.
