Fab evening last night at the magical Hammersmith Apollo.

Gazza was phenomenal. Finished with 'Down in the Park'.

My old territory as with Mr Numan's.

Some of my research today...a treasure trove!

Not a waistcoat railway 'historian' and inevitable attached TV crew in sight! Real railway history takes effort not 'personality'.

Soon shows.

Such wonderful staff at Kew!

Fab shot of Camelot before trial trip for Christmas Lights Special. Andy Sparkes of the Maunsell Loco Society and fellow QPR fan took this master shot.

Saw what goes into to make happen. So impressed from Rowan fitting various to Ruth, all Bluebell, all fantastic. You would be mad to miss this!

What a brand new Wainwright 'P' class 0-6-0 tank's cylinder block looks like. This is for No.27. A Bluebell SECR stalwart which is being lovingly restored by a fab young team and has not run in many a year. The main frames dating from 1910 had rusted through.

All power to their superb efforts.
