Not sure what to say on that performance. Apart from Wirtz, there is no creativity in the side. Ekitike offered more than Isak who is still not match fit. Szobo is trying to win the game single-handed. But for a Chiesa covering run, that could’ve been another loss. Do we have no fit right backs?

These are grim performances. Capitulation seems to be the standard for this side. Think this could be the beginning of the end for Arne. #Liverpool

Very good first half. All 11 have been excellent for Liverpool. What a difference match fitness and a bit of confidence makes to player’s form.

Liverpool deserve to be in front. They need to take one of these chances because Madrid won’t be as passive in the second half.

You can’t judge this Liverpool performance. It’s so disjointed and clearly hardly any of them have a long-term future at the club with the exception of Rio and Chiesa. I’d argue that Mac Allister has to also turn it around after such an awful start to the season.

There are so many players playing out of position and there’s no real leadership on the field. Nobody in midfield in red is putting their foot on the ball and taking control of the game. #LFC
