I'm on threads, giving it a fair shake. My feed is all insta trash though - I barely ever see anything from the people I follow. It's very polished, but until that's fixed I don't think I'm going to spend much time there

I think if the new "only checkmark ppl can initiate DMs" thing goes through on the other site I will completely shift my focus to here.

It's a very good question and I don't really think that there was. They obviously could have gone about certain things better, but all in all it was one of the more benign theaters of British imperialism, pretty much every aspect of Mandatory Palestine excepted
What was the/was there an ideal alternative to temporary British control of former Ottoman lands in the mid-east after WW1?

Gonna start this today. Rather than pinning it to likes, I will simply post three facts per day, until I run out. Then I'll probably go down to one or two.
Definitely think I want to slowly repost my Twitter thread of like 750 history facts on here. Wouldn't want to lose that if something happened with Twitter
