I think we need a deeper study of Dolly drag. Mainly after attending Rhinestone Fest in Knoxville (an annual event celebrating all things Dolly Parton). Watching old, young, straight, LGBTQ+ all come together in a public area to watch with no counterprotesters...there is something to be learned.

I like that the Tybee Island Marine Center has this as a part of their exhibit educating visitors on a variety of ways to help protect the whale population. Given the current state of...well, everything...I think it worthwhile for all of us to begin taking similar approaches. #MuseumsAreNotNeutral

Took the youngest to his first protest today. It was for the NPS, and we were on public land in front of the visitor center. Happy to say we only got one thumbs down and one finger, but many honks of support! Lots of good convos, too, that taught him the importance of participation in a democracy.

Great night listening to John Scalzi at a local book signing - just as funny in person as in print.

And I didn't die on the way back up (we will not count how much I stopped to..ahem...admire the scenery).

Trying to end this dragon in our latest DnD game when one of the residents decided that was enough.

The tufted titmouse family that visits me is one my favorites. The cardinals are also big fans, and though they have not visited the feeder, I started noticing a pair of northern flickers who were regular backyard visitors.

This was a loud one this morning. Very displeased with the weather. I agree with him.
