Honestly sometimes being a Karen is the only way to get things done. My mom has a hard time with people pushing past her like she doesn’t exist because she uses a walker and is really slow. Usually one of us have to stand in front of her to make sure no one pushes her out of the way

Clearly they don’t know how hard it is for some people to physically get to an office to do that. My mom is also now disabled and it’s been eye opening how much harder it is for them to navigate the world in general

I’d talk to them like you would any other acquaintance and get to know them first. Where it gets into creepy territory is being OVERLY friendly, not taking the hint if they aren’t interested ( they’ll try to end the conversation quickly or divert eye contact) or not taking no for an answer.

I will warn though from experience, I had a huge crush on a coworker who did ask me out (and I accepted) and he ended up ghosting me. We had to continue to work together for years after that and it was uncomfortable and for this reason I will never date a coworker.

Personally, I think it depends on the people involved. ✨Childhood trauma✨caused me a lot of confidence issues so I always assume guys I like, don’t like me back and miss all the signs.
