I didn't see it as a TLD, we could also just call it "social account", I mainly added the dot, because the .social TLD is a pattern in the ecosystem and it makes it more into some kind of brand, not just a plain word "social account".

the upcoming @eurosky.social accounts might help European artists to make the shift: make an account on an European server and start using Flashes with it, or whatever you like. That's a better story than the microblogging detour of Bluesky.

the cultural experience that most artists are looking for is something Instagram like, mainly something like @flashes.blue with more product maturity, like @bsky.app has. But it stays a bit difficult to explain that they need a bsky account to use something like Flashes.

And I was serious about cool culture experiences.

eg @hilk.eu wants to get more musicians on board. How do we make cultural experiences that work for them AND have enough cachet that “internet handles” resonate.
