With 3:10 left, they needed a TD and a FG. If they go for 1 and you assume they are going to miss the 2 pt conversion, they *still* need a TD and a FG, they just find out with less time on the clock.

This is still an argument for suspense. If your defense can’t slow down the other team, when you go for 2 doesn’t matter!
