I was digging through some of Branton's stuff and I liked the twist he does where the Mormons are actually in league with the Reptilians and are using BYU as the training ground to teach them how to act human.

Another thing about the Mormon Palantir investment is that they have a theological interest in Israel, interpreting the success of the state as a prerequisite to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. That seems to justify profiteering off genocide in their mind. Bleak stuff.

The great things about those shirts was that it let you know exactly who to steer clear of on BYU campuses.

Fight the New Drug, that's a blast from the past. Didn't know they were still around, figured most of their fan base went over to Tim Ballard.

Some more weapon manufacturing. L3Harris went from $13 million to $26 million. Northrup Grumman $14 million to $17 million. Boeing is down from $312 million to $139 million, which is in line with the trend last year of them dumping stocks. They also dumped their $60 million Raytheon investments.

Tesla investments are up from $665 million to $869 million. They are betting big on the Trump admin apparently.

You can tell he doesn't read because he name checks the Culture a lot; a series about an anarchist utopia with full freedom of gender self-determination.

Basically, it's a more complicated situation than the idea that the church opposes nuclear weapons in general, but this is really cool to see and I hope this leads to more attention being directed at how the church has been war profiteering.

Although the church was opposed to the Minuteman missiles being placed in Utah, they have never been too concerned about being involved in their production and maintenance. Hill AFB is the main depot for Minuteman maintenance, and BYU was involved in the production of the guidance systems.

Nuclear missile development has a long history in Utah, reaching all the way back to the MGM-29 Sergeant, one of the first Army missiles.
November 9, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Unfortunately, the LDS church's opposition to the MX emplacements back in the day were primarily driven by self-preservation. Basically they were concerned that emplacements in Utah would make them a target in case of a nuclear war.

I don't expect the church to ever get rid of its investment portfolio, but at the very least it needs to be pressured to get out of the war profiteering business. Chipping away at their funds should start with very specific targets, and move from there. Northrup Grumman is a great start.

Which stage of capitalism has a guy raising my energy bill so that he can finally hear a woman say I love you?

I don't know that we teach it. I don't know that we emphasize it.

Even the filthy apostates can still feel the Light of Christ on occasion 🙏
