You can grab any HDMI cable and plug it right it, it'll see it as a monitor immediately. Make sure you get a bluetooth or USB-C(with or without an adapter) wireless keyboard, the mac mini doesn't have regular USB(USB-A) ports

Good news! The plastic shell appears to have the placement of the two copper connectors that press against the batteries etched into it. Also shows how to face the batteries. Try to line up the connectors with the outlines I traced.

Ends up making the whole outside edge part of the positive end of the battery. Without holding it it's hard to really tell, but it *looks* like the bottom battery in the left photo is supposed to be + side down down, with the top being - side down. See my terrible MS paint drawings below
