During the height of Covid I implemented an annual goal to read 50 books a year to disrupt my doom scrolling and the damage it was doing to me. @scalzi.com’s book Starter Villain is my favorite bit of brilliantly absurd escapist fun I’ve read since starting that. And he’s a great follow on Bluesky!
