Exactly! Non-rich Republicans continue to vote against their own financial self-interests. The rich wing of the GOP, which includes all of their Senators and Congressmen, always distract their low-information voters with bogus cultural issues - Trans, gays, migrants, “they’re eating the dogs!”

In the US, as long as rich people can convince the non-rich to keep voting against their own best interests (ie, voting Republican), we will not have universal health care. But we can spend nearly a trillion yearly on defense even though we haven't declared an actual war since 1942.

Bernie has been right on this issue from the very beginning. Adequate Health Care should be a human right. If a child is born into poverty they should not have to suffer physically for the rest of their lives for that happenstance. Rich lives are not worth more than poor lives.

How do lobbyists stop Congress from enacting legislation? The same way they always run things - with cash! And probably threats to back primary opponents. Lobbyists should be tossed out of the halls of Congress onto the backsides and never let back in! WE THE PEOPLE DO NOT VOTE FOR LOBBYISTS!

Dictator Trump still trying to take away State’s Rights. He has no authority to pardon this criminal. In attempting to do so HE should be charged with a state crime - one that the Supreme Court cannot save him from after he is out of office.

When asked yesterday by a reporter what would happen to the oil in the seized tanker Trump said “I guess we’ll keep it.”

The tanker was seized under judicial seizure warrant issued 2022. WH hasn't said the oil she's carrying also subject to seizure under the warrant tho.

And now Trump has had our military seize a Venezuelan oil tanker. How is this not piracy on the high seas? We are NOT at war with Venezuela! Yet, in the name of all of us, he’s killing their people and seizing oil. WAG THE DOG! He wants us to look here - not at Epstein, the economy or deportations!
