Never heard that. I think there may be disagreement about how literally to take the details of the Torah, and certainly there's no topic that all Jews agree upon (with the possible exception of the belief that there is no topic that all Jews agree upon), but not most think that, AFAIK

To all the Republican members of the Govt who remain silent as Trump incites violence against his political adversaries I remind you that it wasn’t so long ago when Charlie Kirk was shot that you were saying there is no place for political violence.
