Finished Wee John and his flowers 🌼
I definitely need a bit more practice drawing him, but given it's only the second portrait I ever did of him, I think it turned out alright.
Also, watercolour paper isn't perfect for just coloured pencil, but I still enjoyed it a lot <3

WIP snip of the fanfic "Tales from the past", reading: Before he can say something, Frenchie adds, “Got dismissed by a few therapists because I seemed to be okay. Left my home town, travelled a lot. Ended up here, met Wee John while busking. He noticed my anxiety attacks, helped me find a therapist with more experience. Good bloke, that one. Dug deeper than the others, found the mind box. Gave me the tools to siphon shit out so it won't overflow.” “Hm. I'm glad you had help, Frenchie,” Izzy murmurs, then hesitantly asks, “Do you ever... regret leaving your home?” Frenchie laughs quietly. “No. I've never would have been anyone but Francine there. Small towns are the worst, babe, they never forget a thing. But if we ever get to visit my family, I'll show you all my favourite places, tell you all the stories.” Grumbling, Izzy reminds him, “I hate travelling.” He would do it for Frenchie, though, he's pretty fucking sure of that. “Oh. Uh shit. So I have to cancel our world tour again?” Izzy sits up, stares at the other man with panic-wide eyes until he sees his shit-eating grin. Grabbing his pillow and slapping it over Frenchie's chest, Izzy grouses, “Your sense of humour is the worst.” Frenchie tries to wrangle the pillow from him, but before it can turn into a pillow-fight, Izzy flops his head onto said pillow, makes himself comfortable on Frenchie's chest. And Frenchie immediately wraps his arms around Izzy again, as if he can't help himself. “You love my humour, babe, it's excellent,” Frenchie announces overconfidently and Izzy huffs in denial.
