Father, husband, IT professional., and Cork man.
These terms embody a certain amount of perceived over correction. God knows the respect for difference that underpins them needs to remain. However, even as someone sympathetic to the sentiments, I find their over use exhausting.

Interesting review. Though at least I can see a basis for a VQ discussion. Might not agree, but it’s not sensationalist. The Venue bar owner however….

I saw Gordon Brown on Sky News. As always, thoughtful and insightful. Remarkable how the historical trajectories of Blair and Brown reverse opinion during their premierships.

The first few attempts were half-baked 🤪

Odd man and odd interview. Alas, the position he’s adopting is probably not far off the reality. Hard to see Crimea remaining. The referendum point is where he gives the game away.

Great quote but it’s from Matt Santos in the West Wing which O’Donnell wrote on, so may still have been him 😀

I suspect we will see him on the ballot for the Irish presidency in November. We live in shameful times. Disgusting human.

Everything is relative. He would be of the traditional left of centre FF. Alas his party and Irish politics in general is now reactionary and right of centre economically. Irish political leaders follow the public mood rather than lead.

Thank you too. The
“really going on” line gave me a laugh. All the best.

You want him to commit political seppuku so we can all feel better. That would be useful.

A lot that needs to be done to support Palestine and Ukraine, but the US never listened to us and never will.

As for election results you might want to investigate how parliamentary democracy works.

Where? Not in US media. Irish media mixed. Frankly most of the rest don’t even notice that we exist.

Trump is a problem created in the US that only the US can resolve. With him diplomacy is pointless.
