Really hoping for a nice blue winter day soon-ish. Went out to the park this morning, and didn't even see any birds apart from the usual mallards, and one(!) blue tit.

A "few" #wigeons and teals on the river yesterday. The wigeons especially were very communicative, fun listening to their whistling.
Then, suddenly, all had disappeared (while I crossed through a small wood, lost sight for maybe 30 seconds). I blame the guy in the last pic 😍🦅 #birds #eagle

Not hard to find, but I've only been to the city once since I started birding.

Another one for #BirdOfTheDay , a cormorant fighting with its #lunchtime snack. For a second or two it looked as if the fish might escape. It did not.
