I saw this film dork tweet something like "THE SUBSTANCE is passable but only if you view it as a comedy about vanity" and like, yeah bro, CHINATOWN is a mystery about plumbing, do you think Coralie Fargeat just tripped on a banana peel and accidentally made a movie

Choosing to romance Hans in #kcd2 truly feels like the perfect choice. A forbidden romance between two guys who know each other better than themselves… how can anyone resist?

There was like 70% evil even in the protagonists Gene Hackman played and yet he was so charismatic you would still find yourself pulling for him. Just so deliciously watchable in everything he did.

I know that the music in The White Lotus s3 isn’t being made with plastic straws in takeout cups, but it does sound that way and I do love it

Part of growing up is realizing that anyone can have kids, but not everyone can be a parent. I don’t even mean this from a judgmental perspective, but when a person won’t better themselves for their own child, that action really speaks volumes

Wow. So rarely do I feel the need to rewatch something again directly after a first viewing — this last episode of Severance fits the bill. No spoilers, but I’ll simply say: Team Irv now, Team Irv forever

Dylan O’Brien was so easily my favorite thing about #SaturdayNight (granted I am a little biased about him) but I also think it’s important to note that Chevy singularly told the director he “should be embarrassed”…the irony can’t really be overstated

Started crying again watching other people react to the Ōkami sequel announcement. For me, it’s so emblematic of what video games are to see these reactions — they’re a light among darkness. Ōkami, more than any game I’ve played, tells a story of hope and tenderness, and glorious environmentalism

I’ve been watching Seinfeld since I was a teenager. I think the reason I enjoy every rewatch more than the last is that there’s always something new I’ll embrace about the show — a relationship, a character, a standard. This time I really appreciate and notice all the older actors; they’re the best
