Information is power.

Authoritarian governments can use this power to coerce or silence their citizens. Cybercriminals can use it to impersonate or extort their victims.

In the last six weeks, Americans have watched in horror as Elon Musk and DOGE teenagers breach government computer systems that store troves of our most sensitive data.

Social Security numbers, bank accounts and home addresses all exposed with no vetting and no accountability.
