He was a lovely man. Very humble, funny and, as you say, gentle. I’m now going to track down all his minor works, like writing on walking the lower Yarra.

I guess going by the other signs - not Catholic, C of E or regular Methodist. There was also a relatively recent plaque commemorating the 492 (!) orphaned babies who died at a local orphanage.
