Basically, I'm obsessed with this amaryllis. It grew more overnight, so I took more photos. I used the Canon 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 @ 105mm, 1/200, f/4.5, ISO 100 for all but the full length (which was @ 35mm).

Last night I went to KungFu Necktie in Philly to see a few bands I didn't know. They seemed like good vibes (and were). This band is Davvn (pronounced "dawn"). Very fun mid-2000s girly pop-punk fun. I enjoyed shooting them + got to test auto ISO in low light.

Here's a throwback to my Fuji FinePix s7000 days. I took these in Key West AGES ago. I keep thinking Pic A is a monarch but it isn't. Pic B is definitely a Blue Morpho though. I was hype about it.

Lately I've been practicing very simple to light portrait shoots. I feel like I'm comfortable with using these two together, but damn if I don't want another V1. It sounds so stupid but I really do prefer the rounded light. It's also more powerful as far as I can tell. I'm not a spec hound.

When I say my mama kept this thing in MINT condition! The battery charger is a little schmutz on it but I'm pretty sure I can handle that 🤣 I'm so happy to have. The best time for someone to give you a gift back is when they hear you're about to buy it.
