Senator King cites the SNAP benefits as an example of Trump gathering more executive power and leverage during the shutdown. But the cut-off of SNAP benefits had nothing Germaine to do with the shutdown! It was illegal!

I would find it hard to be that evenhanded as a judge in the face of this.
