There's a public shader created by ZebraNorth that you can use for generating a spiral as a material within Unity and then adding that. Would that work here?

I apologise if I misrepresented it! It is a game I still really want to try. The only reason I bounced off it is because I started it right after completing DS1 and wasn't prepared for its differences.
