Aerocolor IV my beloved, i have a few rolls in the freezer and frankly need to get more

i also need to run a roll of something different through the Fuji, cause some of this is definitely the lens on that thing

saaaaaame- big part of why i love brutalism

those buildings loom so good
November 26, 2025 at 5:16 PM
you're the third person to say something roughly to that effect, which is FASCINATING cause i've never had a piece draw such a specific interpretation across viewers

this whole roll came out looking wiiiild for some reason

a lot of that is just how Aerocolor looks, but the lens on this weird 80s Fuji has some serious character

thank you! generally speaking, i see the content of a photograph as the means by which to convey the atmosphere of a place
November 24, 2025 at 4:02 PM
you're pathetic
November 24, 2025 at 4:00 PM
oof that's brutal
November 5, 2025 at 3:51 PM
this was done at a lab, they have a noritsu that handles it no problem

i wanna get into home scanning regardless though, the control would be nice and it would save a good deal of money
November 4, 2025 at 7:17 PM
omg kinda, thank you i hadn't considered that at all 😮
November 4, 2025 at 7:15 PM
yeah i'm very excited to see how their lineup develops over the next few years

as it stands i'll definitely be shooting more of this version in 120
November 4, 2025 at 7:15 PM
interesting 🤔 it definitely does seem to behave better with colors when a bright sky is in frame

the shutter speed theory is neat, i have a shot that i know for a fact was shot at 1/500th and it still has that signature red skew, but it IS less extreme than slow and low light scenarios

tysm barkstie ❤️
November 4, 2025 at 5:45 PM
thank you 🙏 something really interesting, i took a version of this shot on CineStill 50D as well, and the colors aren't that far from this 👀

the light that morning was just exquisite
November 4, 2025 at 5:42 PM
what's your technique for it?
November 4, 2025 at 5:38 PM
old Minolta glass is deeply slept on- the Autocord is astonishingly sharp despite being from the 1950s & their 1970s MC Rokkor lenses are equally impressive. the 58mm f1.4 and 135mm F2.8 are both magnificent

this is my first roll of Phoenix II & i'm really impressed with it- definitely more consistent than original Phoenix (although i also love that film's funky unpredictable dynamic range behavior)
