Slowly making my way through Huxley's "Heaven and Hell". One passage struck me and immediately brought to mind the famous Sycamore Gap Tree, sadly felled by idiots a few months ago.

1. Still no “live” meta-analysis. At best we have up-to-date bibliographies (MIT AI @ Work, Microsoft Research, etc.), but no single statistical synthesis that pools all the estimates.
Median productivity gains from LLMs are slowly trending downward from 2023 to 2025, from under 30% to about 15%. However the number of studies is very small, and the reported numbers are very heterogeneous, so don't take it too seriously.
