Reading this gave me chills all over my body. It saddened me to see this...war has no regard for life or nature...and I deeply hope you will survive this...both in your life going forward, in your memory and in your heart. We all hold you, your family and your country, in our hands of doves.

I hope your day was lovely! I was so worn out from a week's worth of prep & setting the table...I never got pictures of the main event...the bird!
The house was filled with happy people...and that's what Thanksgiving is all about. (confession: I'm wishing for turkey, stuffing & gravy leftovers)

This might be an even more important holiday for me than Christmas. It's about giving and thanks instead of receiving.

Tomorrow is our very fancy Thanksgiving feast.
I am capable of this...but given how much I've lined up on my to-do list for our family celebration at my daughters' house...it might not turn out to be a turkey but simply a nice platter.

Good morning! Today: homemade crackers, some kind of bread/rolls, mini antipasta skewers, make sure I've everything for my turkcuterie board & make cannoli cream stuffed dates. I want to make abt 6 wreaths too. 3 for my daughters' house & 1 for her MIL, 1 for her closest friend. I think that's it!
