Thus, book 1 of 2026. The Once and Future Queen by Paula Lafferty. 3 stars. Not terrible, not the best. An Arthurian retelling involving Guinevere, time travel, and a little bit of shoe-horned-in spice. I found myself wanting the characters to be more true to their origins.
