Are there benefits that you experience with a monarchy system? Personally, I think democratically electing leaders, rather than a line of succession is better because the majority select the ruler. I live in the US though, and we elected the current shitshow so I’m open to learn more!

Can you expand on your point of view regarding monarchies? I just did a little looking online and it seems there are still quite a few monarchies, but few that are the absolute ruling kind. I feel like the person you are responding to is defining them with absolute ruling.
