you'd also be able to find other information tangentially related, and like.. learn about and communicate with other people. its basically how i made/found most of my online friends, communities, etc.

like when you wanted to find something out, you'd go to a forum or a website thats been cultivated by a group of people or one VERY passional person and they'd give you information, context, and potentially impart that passion onto you
