Start your New Year celebrations early. Inflation’s only gonna get worse:

Goldman Sachs estimates that the share of tariff costs borne by consumers has increased from 22 percent in April to 55 percent in October, and that it will continue to rise, reaching 67 percent by the middle of next year.

Keep the header but perpetuate the disinformation: * The header "Vaccines do not cause autism" has not been removed due to an agreement with the chair of the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee that it would remain on the CDC website.

The real danger to press freedom has nothing to do with Trump's personal insults.

"When Trump is gone, add this to the lengthening list of necessary reforms: eliminate a president’s authority to appoint the chair of the Federal Communications Commission."
The real danger to press freedom has nothing to do with Trump's personal insults.
And everything to do with his threats to corporate media's profits.

I've known Catherine Lucey for 26 years, since I covered the 1999 mayor's race for the PDN and she covered it for Penn's student paper. She is, quite, simply, the best in the business, who also got under Trump's skin in his first term. Trump is the real pig here www.inquirer.com/politics/tru...

I guess cover is blown?: Trump has signed off on CIA plans for covert measures inside Venezuela, according to multiple sources, who added that the operations could be meant to prepare a battlefield for further action. It is not clear what the covert actions might be or when they might happen.

“Things happen.”

That was how President Trump described the murder of the columnist Jamal Khashoggi on Tuesday afternoon while sitting beside Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi ruler whom the C.I.A. believes approved the killing.

Aid cuts from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and France, could cause up to 22.6 million additional deaths in developing countries by 2030, including 5.4 million children under 5. Didn’t have to be this way, Mr. Trump, for America’s major role!

Now Federal Appeals Court Judge: Several months before the military strikes began, former acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove told employees that the government should just “sink the boats” rather than prosecute people on board suspected drug vessels. Hmm…where else can Trump apply this?

Simply put, any provision of intelligence known to support such attacks is unlawful.
