Also I looooooove how stretchy the animation was! Good voice acting too. Eating good with those colour and beat boards.

They couldn’t find anything wrong with it but I’d already done the scans/tests they did 😭

It’s not even just that, but the fact that no one who’s supposed to know could figure it out? It took so long because everyone along the way was so dismissive and unwilling to blame Windows 11 😭

Anyway! New Year’s resolution for me is to get back on track. I’ve had a lot of time to think about how important art and storytelling is to me. It was gut-wrenching to be stuck like that and I’m not taking my resources for granted.

Couldn’t apply to jobs in my field either because I didn’t have equipment! Luckily I’d saved copies of my FOH resume on the cloud so I could still apply to places in the general sector. I literally got zero responses. That’s with me applying directly on company websites. Sucks to be poor lol

I found the solution myself (it was a BIOS setting on by default which NO ONE looked into), sent it to the tech as a suggestion, and woah!! It works now. Screw Windows 11. I’ve lost out on most of my potential income this year.

I even got a new unit because the techs at repairs were baffled and concluded it was a hardware error. The new unit crashed within the day. I didn’t have money to hire a third party and could only go off my warranty so I had to send it in again.

This situation has been so frustrating because no one believed me! Microsoft never tried at ALL to fix the issue, everyone and their mom told me it must be that “sketchy art program” (it was CSP. WHICH IVE USED FOR YEARS). The computer spent a total of 2 months at repairs. Since April 2025.

Microsoft was impossible to contact. No email or phone (it’s the same phone menu wherever you call, and if you call a second time within a set period the bot hangs up), “agents” would mark my request as “resolved” at 2AM without ever contacting me. I lost 8 months of my career! Yaaaay Windows 11

Windows 11 kept sending my computer into BSODs whenever I’d try to draw. Since APRIL. No one at AMD, Lenovo, CELSYS, and countless others knew what to do. Combined 2 months at repairs. It was a BIOS setting turned on by default. I found the solution myself, and just got to work again this week.

Windows 11 single-handedly kneecapped 2/3 of a year’s worth of income for me. Microsoft was impossible to contact and everyone around me blamed CSP but I KNEW IT WASN’T IT. So frustrating to be right all along but no one else in charge doing the work. I just miss Windows working 😭

A default BIOS setting with my brand new computer freshly set up with Windows 11 is what’s been causing “unexplainable” BSODs whenever I’d draw on it since APRIL. Only got solved last week because I found a solution thread and sent it MYSELF to the tech at the manufacturer.

Growing old is a gift and a privilege, and trying to mark almost half the population as pariahs as they age is so messed up :(
