Reading "has obesity", "having overweight", "person with o******", makes me wanna eat the writer. Criteria for these terms is based junk science (BMI). Period. In public health, social justice work there's been a lot of work on de-stigmatizing language, but with fat stuff things are way off. (1/3)

it is just so wild to me that this is something they are openly bragging about. not that long ago putting people in solitary for an episode of psychosis would have been a scandal that would come out from investigative reporting, not from some press release
