OMG... If you can't get your data back, then it's the time you really consider jump ship to other OS, when you have the chance to get rid of the Apple ecosystem.

If you're talking about jurisdiction, others in the EU and Switzerland (like Threema) are no better now.

I have been using BOTH Protonmail and Tuta and they're decent services. However their future don't look good because of EU's Chat Control. I'm now finding new ways to have my emails free from being viewed without my consent.
